In which Aditrupz say Happy Birthday Trinity!!
Happy Birthday Trinity, you turn ‘1’ today.
2011 has zipped by so fast, it feels like we were going constant at 80kmph for all 12 months. Each month has seen new sets of travels, exploring new places, new experiences.
January – Pavana dam and backwaters
January had us exploring Pune and its close quarters, early Saturday morning drive down to Pawana dam and its backwaters, picturesque landscapes in the quite of the mountains.
February – Manchar
February 2011, Prashant Patil a.k.a Shot was getting engaged in his “गाव” – Manchar, about 60 km from Pune, this was the first long distance road trip on bike which included riding at dawn, we left Pune about 4.30 am in the freezing climate. One hell of a chilling experience.
March April and May – were not ideal months for biking around with temperatures soaring.
June – Khadki War Memorial
One of shortest yet most memorable bike rides, first rains!!
The experience of driving in rains is something else altogether – a short drive to Khadki War memorial, its surprising how such beautiful garden is maintained within the city.
July – Mahabaleshwar – Kaas Bike trip
Read more about this awesome bike trip here – Pune – Mahabaleshwar – Kaas – Pune
We ended up going to Kaas twice in a span of one month – we drove the 120 km even in August with Adies parents wanted to visit there.
October – Diveagar via Tamhini ghat
This break had to be taken before there would have been a breakdown, we planned this 2 day trip with Adis office buddies. Super picturesque drive down Tamhini ghat via Mulshi landing you in Kokan with pristine beaches like Diveagar, Harihareshwar and Shreewardhan.
Awesome food, awesome climate and awesome company!!
We have covered over 7500 km and there are a lot more to look forward to 🙂
Thank you Trinity, it would not be possible without you and of course not without the man behind the wheels
We have miles to go before we sleep …. 🙂
